Description
Illustrates a group of 10 Indigenous men and 7 Indigenous women gathered and dancing in a circle, with three individuals in the center of the circle. Between every person, there is a wooden post engraved with human faces. The image subjects wear minimal clothing, hold various objects, and some have feathers sticking out of their heads. This painting depicts a community in Secotan, which is now considered a part of North Carolina.
